Melissa worked for the Diocese of Raleigh for eight years before coming to St. Andrews in December 2015. She enjoys working at a parish where she can assist ministry leaders and staff to effectively communicate all of the great opportunities at the parish. She brings knowledge of the Church from a diocesan perspective as well as experience working with many national Catholic organizations.
Melissa and her family attend St. Michael’s in Cary. She lives in Apex, NC. She has been married to her husband, Ed, for 21 years. She has two children. Alec, age 22, is in his second year of Occupational Therapy School at East Carolina. Emily, age 20, is a junior at University of Tennessee in Knoxville studying Nursing and Public Health. As a family they enjoy traveling and spending time on their boat at Jordan Lake.
