St. Andrew/Habitat for Humanity Summary Sheet

- Directions to Idlewood Village, Raleigh :
- From Raleigh and East: Take I-40/440 to exit 300- Rock Quarry Road. Go South on Rock Quarry Road.(away from town) Go a couple full blocks. Turn RIGHT on Sanderford Road. Go a little less than a mile. Turn RIGHT on Idlewood Village Drive. Turn RIGHT into the Upper Room Church of God in Christ parking lot and park here. Follow the signs along the sidewalk to the sign-in station on Ricochet Drive.
- From West of Raleigh: Take I-40 to Hammond Road exit South. Turn LEFT on Tryon Road. Go through Garner Road intersection. Left onto Cyrus Street. Turn RIGHT on Ujamaa Drive. Turn LEFT on Idlewood Village Drive. Pass Ricochet Drive and then turn LEFT into the Upper Room Church of God in Christ parking lot and park here. Follow the signs along the sidewalk to the sign-in station on Ricochet Drive.

- WHAT TOOLS DO I BRING? (It is very helpful to Habitat if volunteers come with their own basic tools, but it is not required. Please label all tools you bring to the site with your name and/or Group)
BASIC: Work gloves, hammer, tape measure, tool belt or nail apron, pencil, water, sunscreen, good shoes.. OTHER USEFUL TOOLS: (Level, square, chalk box, drop cords, circular saw, utility knife, step ladders are also likely to be useful. Volunteers should clearly label all tools.
- WHAT IF IT RAINS? In case of questionable weather: We will not work in a heavy rain or in very wet conditions. If you are in doubt as to weather, volunteers can call the Habitat inclement weather hotline after 7:00 am @ 919-833-1999 x 240.
