More YTSO information
Our Youth to Senior Outreach Team consists of two adults and 4-5 youths. A team is formed prior to the day of service. On the day of service, team members will meet in front of the CARE Center between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m., depending on how far away the service site is. The team will travel together in a single personal van and meet up at the site with someone from the non-profit group called Resources for Seniors. This Resources for Seniors representative will be the source of information for the particular service project, although the teens themselves will be in charge of the actual building/repairing. The adult team members will primarily supervise, guide and assist the teens.
Team members should bring $ for lunch (we stop for lunch at a fast food restaurant on the way back to St. Andrew). The team will be back at St. Andrew no later than 1:30 p.m.
