Baptisms
Our requirements for Baptismal Preparation are as follows: Notify the Parish Office for details when you know you are interested in scheduling infant baptism. Baptism is scheduled during masses on an assigned weekend for 10 months of the liturgical year, with a walk-through class on the Monday prior to baptism unless noted otherwise. However, all parents who are having a child baptized either here at St. Andrew’s or elsewhere, must attend a mandatory educational session/class. The class is taken before your child’s baptism and preferably prior to the birth of your child. No classes/ Baptisms are scheduled during Lent or Advent.

Baptism Preparation Helpers
Baptism Preparation Helpers set up for the priest on Baptism Weekend, assist the priest during the class and call couples to remind them of the class and to help them with any questions or concerns.
Membership:
Open to all
Events:
Baptism class is held once monthly, except during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
Baptisms are held the weekend following the class.
Meetings:
Once monthly on Monday nights (or less).
Time Commitment:
One hour, once a month, and one half hour before Mass.
Time commitment can vary, depending on the number of volunteers. A volunteer may be called only twice a year.
