Nursery
The nursery provides childcare for parishioners during the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday morning. The program is run as a cooperative effort, with all parents rotating on Sundays to watch the children.
The nursery will re-open for the 9:30 mass on Sunday, September 10 and children who are walking well to age 4 are invited to participate. Volunteers are also needed to help run the nursery during the 9:30am mass. Parents usually volunteer once every 5 weeks and are in the nursery with one to two other parents. Membership:
Open to all adult volunteers and children (walking through age 4) needing childcare during the Masses.
Time Commitment:
One Sunday every 10 weeks (on average). This may vary due to number of volunteers rotating on the schedule.
Volunteers arrive 20 minutes prior to Mass. During this time name tags are made for each child on the scheduled list. Walk-ins are accepted as long as there are enough volunteers. When children are picked up, volunteers straighten the room in preparation for Monday’s “Morning Out” session.
