Career Transition Ministry
Saint Andrew's Career Transition Ministry assists members with the following:
- Loss of a job due for any reason (lay-off, terminated or quitting)
- Depression, anxiety associated with career stress or job loss
- Help with Resume, Biography and cover letter preparations and proofreading
- New Business ideas and planning
- Networking and business relationships
- Seeking and discussing the spiritual meaning of God's will in making a career transition.
Goals
- Have all active members employed or self-employed in an enjoyable profession or business.
- Increase parish awareness of current pool of unemployed professional talent by finding parishioners that have contacts with area companies.
Meetings
The St. Andrews Career Transition Ministry will begin bi-monthly meetings, starting Thursday March 12th, 9:00am-10:00am in Room 212 of the parish CARE Center. The St. Andrew’s Career Transition ministry is a group of recently laid-off individuals who are seeking employment opportunities. They depend upon God, each other, and YOU to network with area companies, as well as companies outside of the Triangle, to identify potential positions.
