Contemplative Outreach of Central and Eastern North Carolina

Centering Prayer in Central and Eastern North Carolina

We are an ecumenical network that supports the practice of Centering Prayer in the Triangle area--Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and beyond.

We encourage the practice of Centering Prayer through

  • Introductions to Centering
  • Quarterly Mornings of Prayer
  • A weekend Centering Retreat
  • And Enrichment Days

We also publish a quarterly newsletter with current information about events, books of interest, and other spiritual practices to enrich our spiritual journey. (See right)

The Current CO/CENC Newsletter

The current CO/CENC Newsletter is published online and updated quarterly. You can receive notification of the current update by sending your contact information (name, address, phone, email) to our List Administrator, Claudia Mormino, e-mail: cmormino@earthlink.net, phone: 919-467-0760.

As a network, we use the newsletter to keep individual practitioners and groups connected with each other. The newsletter publicizes the resources and events available to the network, including CO/CENC quarterly days of prayer, retreat opportunities, thoughts about Centering, and other news of the network.
