Mothers Growing in Faith
We would like to enrich our faith as Catholic Christian mothers by seeking knowledge and understanding of the Catholic practice of faith. We will explore our faith and increase our spiritual practices through the study and discussion of tradition, scripture, and other written resources, as well as listening to guest speakers, in hopes of developing our vocation with focus on our roles as mothers, wives, and women. Fellowship will serve to encourage and support our efforts of practicing what we learn together as we collaborate to build the Body of Christ within our group, parish, and community.
Membership
Open to all mothers in the parish.
Cost
Book fees vary. Childcare fees on a sliding scale for multiple children (no mom turned away for inability to pay!). Nursery space is limited - call for availability.
Meetings
Friday mornings 9:30 - 11:30 AM, starting August 29, 2008 to May 22, 2009, with breaks for Thanksgiving (Nov 28), Christmas (Dec 16, Jan 2), and Good Friday and Easter (April 10 & 17).
