WESTERN WAKE CRISIS MINISTRY FOOD DRIVE: THANKSGIVING AND BEYOND
Western Wake Crisis Ministry (WWCM) will be providing Thanksgiving meals to our neighbors in need. Because several area churches are collecting for these meals, St. Andrew will collect some items for Thanksgiving as well as much needed food for the winter months. We will hand out flyers with a list of food items needed after all masses on November 11/12 in the gathering space. Food will be collected the following weekend, November 18/19 before and after all masses in the fellowship hall.
Cash donations are welcome and can be made to: Western Wake Crisis Ministry. We estimate the cost of These items to be $50. Thank you for your kind and generous support of this ministry.

WWCM was started in 1983 by one of St. Andrew’s founding parishioners, Antoinette Clark. She worked with people from other local churches to open a food pantry in the Apex area. St. Andrew’s parishioners have supported WWCM with food, financial support and volunteers since its beginning. St. Andrew’s is one of the largest supporters of WWCM to this day. WWCM is an ecumenical organization supported by many local churches, businesses, civic organizations and individuals.
