Cathy Rusin, Director of Adult Faith Formation

Cathy Rusin

Cathy was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, but has called North Carolina home since college. She holds a BS in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Theological Studies degree from Duke Divinity School. Cathy is a certified Master Catechist and has served as a lay ecclesial minister in various positions in the Diocese of Raleigh for twenty years. Most of her experience has been in young adult and campus ministry, including 6 years at NC State.

As Director of Adult Faith Formation, she coordinates the RCIA process (through which adults become full members of the Catholic Church). Cathy will be developing new opportunities for adults of all ages to deepen our faith more fully, using both face-to-face and online means of interacting.
