Katie is our Director of Elementary Faith Formation for grades K-5. Prior to this, she taught preschool for 4 joy-filled years in St. Andrew’s Early Childhood Center.
Katie is certified as a Master Catechist. She holds a MS degree in Educational and Counseling Psychology and was previously licensed as a Professional Counselor. She worked in the Archdiocese of Atlanta for 6 years as Director of Project Aware: The Office of Child and Youth Protection. Katie also serves as co-chairperson for the Collaborative for Special Needs and Disabilities Ministry in the Diocese of Raleigh.
Katie is married and has two adult children. Besides church, her favorite places are libraries, theaters, beaches, and anywhere she can take a long walk.
