Most Catholic men are busy supporting their families, driving kids to sports, and only find time to attend mass on Sunday (if that). This unfortunately leaves them feeling a bit empty and disconnected from the riches of the Catholic life. Not only is a man’s faith key to his fulfillment, but it also is a key factor in a family’s spiritual health. “That Man is You” is an interactive program currently running at over 500 parishes around the Nation. It is designed to honestly address the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive. It is particularly indebted to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council and Pope John Paul II.

We are restarting the TMIY (That Man Is You) fall program on September 9th. It is different than all of their other programs and is made up of outstanding Catholic speakers. The great thing about the program is that even if you stopped coming in the past, now you can jump into this new content. It runs Saturday morning from 8:00-9:00 am in the Room 8 (music room near the office).
The Light of Men
There is but one source of all light – Jesus! He is the light shattering the darkness of our day. To be in the light is to allow God’s light to shine through you and become manifest in abundant virtue. “In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” This is all new content with Speakers like Dr Peter Kreeft, Ralph Martin and Matthew Leonard(John 1: 4-5).
