Parish Activity Updates
Living Rosary
Would you like to get closer to her through praying the rosary? The parish has an active group that prays the Living Rosary every day. Participants can pray an assigned decade of Rosary at all time or place and they are participating in a devotion where as a group, all the mysteries of the Rosary are prayed every day. Floral arrangements on the altar add so much! Those at home and those in person can enjoy them. There are many weekends open in this Ordinary Time. Please consider a floral donation to memorialize or honor something or someone special while adding beauty to our altar. Learn more here.

First Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral
These Saturdays honor Our Lady of Fatima’s request for 1st Saturdays, a Rosary and the Divine Chaplet will be prayer each month. Learn more here.
NOVENA OF DIVINE MERCY AT DRAKE CIRCLE – You are invited to pray the Novena of the Divine Mercy outside “A Woman’s Choice of Raleigh” 3305 Drake Circle, Raleigh. The Novena will begin on Good Friday, 4/18 at 1:00 pm. On the subsequent eight days (4/19-4/26) you are invited to meet from 3:00-3:15 pm at Drake Circle to pray the Chaplet and pray outside during these times. If you can not pray at Drake Circle, try to observe the three o’clock hour of mercy wherever you are. Our prayerful presence outside Drake Circle is legal. “At three o’clock, implore my mercy. Tenebrae: A Service of Shadow and Light Prepare for the Triduum. The Music Ministry of Mother Teresa invites you to Tenebrae: A Service of Shadow and Light on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m.. at Mother Teresa Catholic Church, 1125 Mother Teresa Drive, Cary. Tenebrae is an evening of traditional hymns and psalms of the Lenten season sung by all gathered and ancient motets offered by the choir.
Join Catholic Parish Outreach Food Pantry on Saturday April 26, 2025, from 3:30 pm until 7pm (or until the pig runs out) for the 13th Annual Pig Pickin & Open House! Enjoy a meal with pig cooked on site, live bluegrass music, tour the warehouse which serves over 10,000 individuals each month, enjoy our bake sale and have a chance to win some great raffle prizes! Your support of this event helps CPO provide help and create hope for our neighbors.

The St. Augustine’s Homeschool Enrichment Drama Program invites you to our production of “The Snow Queen” and “The Land of Fairy Tales” taking place in the St. Monica Hall at St. Joseph’s Church in Raleigh. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, May 17th at 5:30pm and Sunday, May 18th at 3:00pm. A suggested donation of $5 per family will assist with production costs. This is a perfect play for younger children to attend so please bring the whole family and support our local homeschool drama students who have worked hard all semester preparing for this production!

Project Rachel Support Group
Abortion is one of the most common procedures in the U.S., experienced by millions of women, many of whom are Catholic. Abortion creates a wound in post-abortive women (and men), resulting in spiritual and emotional problems. The Project Rachel ministry assists women and men who have been wounded by abortion to find truth and healing. There is a confidential support group beginning in the Triangle area in late September.
