St. Andrew is meeting the challenge to continue to find new ways of living our vision to Love God, Serve Neighbor, Nurture Disciples.

We Can, We Have, and We Will continue to be good stewards of the gifts God continues to give.

Now is the time to look forward, recommit and reconnect.
Please prayerfully consider your 2021 financial commitment to the parish.
Say I Will again.

We invite you to fill out the 2021 commitment form below.

“What is a Christian steward? One who receives God’s gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them in justice and love with others and returns them with increase to the Lord.”

USCCB, Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response

We should consistently be asking how our families are contributing their
treasure, talent and time to our parish community.
The needs within and outside our parish are real and sometimes overwhelming,
but collectively, we can and we will make a difference!

How do you answer the following questions?

Every great thing that happens at St. Andrew starts with you!

Financial Stewardship

For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.”

Matthew 6:21

How many times have you visited a coffee shop this week? Coffee is an easy scapegoat, but it represents a real question: how are we, as Catholics, investing in our spirituality, and nourishing the gifts God gives us? Every dollar we spend is a choice God asks us to make. Choose to give back and fill your cup with the richness of Catholic stewardship.

How does ministry happen?

What Can We Dream About Accomplishing at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church?

“Dreams are important. They keep our view broad; they help us to embrace the horizon, to cultivate hope in every daily action.

Pope Francis, 2018

Can we build a house for
someone experiencing homelessness?

Can we continue to generously feed
the hungry at Western Wake, Catholic Parish Outreach,
Brown Bag and Oak City Cares?

Can we provide our youth with a
socially and spiritually
fulfilling hang-out space?

Can we care for God’s creation by
making environmentally friendly
changes on our campus?

What else do you dream
about doing here at our parish?

Can we become a parish that
leads our community in stewardship?

What if we could do all of these things and more?
We Can and We Will if Everyone Answers the Call!

Will you join us in praying for our parish in this time of discernment?

O God, in whose every creation we discover a gift freely given:
all that we have comes from the outpouring of your generosity.
Inspire in our hearts a deep sense of gratitude,
and move us to share what we have received with
the same immensity of spirit in which it was given.

O Lord, you breathe your Spirit upon us and send us out with your peace,
and so we will form disciples who will care of our common home.
We will be your presence in our world as we light the flame of faith
and give hope to the hopeless.
As your Mystical Body we will care for the poor and the sick,
the stranger and the imprisoned.
We will witness to your love with our entire lives.

O God, You call each of us to play a unique role in the unfolding of your divine plan.
Give us the grace to answer your call:
Who will? … We will!

We ask this with grateful hearts through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
